                           Neil's Auto Service Company Policies 
   
  1. All warranties are conditional and must be inspected, approved and repaired at Neil's Auto Service. Customer must have the original receipt and warranties are non-transferable from one owner to another.
  2. Warranties are 12 months or 12,000 miles which ever comes first,  If no warranty at all is provided, it is generally covered in the company policies.
  3. Air Conditioning recharge service has no warranty covering freon leaks and no warranty is implied
  4. We do not finish work started by some one else.
  5. Neil’s Auto Service Inc. will not be held responsible for pre-existing conditions on or in the vehicle. This includes but not limited to body damage, window problems, door handles, rusted lines or parts, etc.
  6. We do not repair engines that have a lower end knock at all. We do replace some engines at our discretion.
  7. Vehicles that are towed in on a wrecker or by other means and will not start or are not drivable for what ever reason that might have conditions that are not possible to verify upon arrival and then arise once the vehicle is repaired will be considered pre-existing conditions and we will not be held liable.
  8. If customer brings their own diagnosis and specific parts are changed at customers request, there will be no warranty on any work performed and we will not be held liable if that does not fix the vehicle.
  9. If damage occurs to a customer’s vehicle while in the custody of Neil’s Auto Service Inc. we must be notified within one week of vehicle pickup or it will not be repaired at the expense of Neil’s Auto Service Inc.  If we are notified within one week of vehicle pick up we will inspect the problem and make a determination.
  10.  If Neil’s Auto Service recommends a repair procedure and specific part(s) and the customer wants the vehicle repaired another way other than what was recommended for any reason. The repair will not be under warranty of any type.
  11.  If testing is required to come to a diagnosis to give an estimate, there will be fees for the testing time.
  12.  Vehicles left for more than three (3) days will have a storage bill attached to them, unless other arrangements are made with Neil personally.  If said arrangements are defaulted on by the customer storage fees may be attached without notice.
  13.  Any vehicle brought in without an appointment and/or unannounced, will be accepted for work upon the authorization of Neil himself.
  14.  If customer supplies own part(s) or request used part(s), Neil's Auto Service can not provide warranty of any kind, parts or labor.
  15.  Most people consider it an emergency when their vehicle is broken down. To be fair to everyone, Neil's Auto Service takes vehicles on a first come first serve basis.
  16.  We will not accept any new fleet accounts.
  17.  Most times we are unable to work with a 3rd party entity for payment or approval of vehicle repair. Such as warranty companies, insurance companies, ect. Due to the fact they are seeking a profit and want sub standard work. This approach from such companies, for their profit motives, does nothing for your saftey and peace of mind, or for the reputation of Neil's Auto Service Inc.
